We are a British couple who had been Florida homeowners
since May 2001. Our home had always been cared for by Premier Vacation
Rentals and when I retired from the Royal Air Force in 2005 the
opportunity arose to move to Florida full time and become a partner
in the company. After many months of discussions and deliberations
we finally decided to go for it and relocated to Florida in July
2005.
The first year has been very busy but extremely
rewarding as we have been able to draw on my 30 years managerial
experience within the RAF and 5 years of florida home ownership
to take the company forward.
We currently care for approximately thirty-five
top quality homes and, although we are ambitious, we are not greedy.
To this end, we are in the process of increasing the number of homes
entrusted to us to about forty but we will not go beyond this figure
because we are determined to maintain that “personal touch” that
has been the benchmark of our success to date.
We pride ourselves on being a traditional management
company where caring for homes is our number one priority. We are
mindful that guests will not be happy if a home is not properly
cared for and is below expectations. Whether it be debris in the
pool, the air-conditioning system not working properly or even something
minor like a blown light bulb or a loose door handle, these are
things that guests will remember, especially when they are looking
to book a villa for future visits.
Having said that, because we have been Florida
homeowners ourselves, we fully appreciate the importance of obtaining
bookings. We do occasionally receive bookings, which we are able
to pass on to our clients but it is not our core business. We believe
that it is not feasible to carry out both sets of duties effectively;
after all, how can a home be effectively cared for if management
company staff are sat at a computer trying to achieve bookings for
their clients?
Our aim is to ensure that your home is presented
in its best light so that your guests remember their stay in Florida
for all the right reasons. Our success over the past seven years
has been achieved by attention to detail, effective communication
